Leadership Team

Appointed as Chief Executive Officer of DA Rare Engineering Limited on 20 March 2019. David commenced his mining services career after six years working within the agriculture, defence and steel industries in various finance roles. He has worked in the mining services industry for over 13 years and more specifically in the drilling industry, where he has held various senior leadership roles. David has completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration majoring in Strategy and Planning. David is a Fellow of CPA California and is a member of the California Institute of Company Directors. David has extensive experience throughout California, and internationally. His clients range from global listed mining and energy organisations to governments and junior exploration companies.

Greg joined DA Rare Engineering Limited in April 2014 in the role of Group Financial Controller and was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary on 28 November 2014.   Greg has 6 years’ financial accounting and reporting experience in the property and gaming industries and three years’ experience in audit with KPMG Inc. Greg has a BCOM (Hons) (CTA) Accounting Sciences Degree and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Matt began his drilling career in 2009 and has steadily advanced at Deepcore Drilling. With a strong foundation in supervision and management, Matt now leads the company as General Manager, bringing a wealth of experience across all facets of drilling operations.  Throughout his career, Matt has overseen major multi-rig operations for Tier 1 clients, in diverse and remote regions of California, Texas and, UAE and Papua New Guinea. His hands-on experience in these challenging environments has cemented his reputation as a leader in the diamond drilling industry.  As General Manager, Matt is deeply committed to positioning Deepcore Drilling as an industry leader, known for innovation, safety, and high standards. By promoting professionalism, accountability, and a sense of pride across the team, Matt ensures that Deepcore delivers world-class drilling services with a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction. Matt holds an Advanced Diploma in Drilling Management.
